Hello my name is Mayra Spinks and I live in Southern California, in a mountain community called Running Springs.  I worked for the State of California for 20yrs and retired a few years ago. Shortly after my retirement I decided to follow my passion and join the travel agency industry. I have always had a keen eye for detail and understand the importance of customer service.  I have traveled with my husband to Mexico, Europe, North America, Canada, Eastern Caribbean, Hawaii,Mediterranean and Alaska.  I love to travel, I love everything about it!  It feels so rewarding, whether it be a cruise, safari, or private island experience. I also just like walking through a city people watching and immersing myself in the culture.  I love experiencing new culinary and wine from any area of the world I might be traveling to.  When I decided to invest in myself and the education I needed to become the best I can be in the travel industry, I decided to specialize in Luxury Travel.  I recently completed my Luxury Specialist training through The Travel Institute as well as my TAP exam which I scored highly in.  I continue to expand my knowledge of Central Europe as well as Northern and Southern.  I have completely several trainings with the preferred suppliers I feel have an extensive supply of cruses and tours for the Luxury Traveler. I come from a family of travelers and I feel that that is where some of my passion comes from.  My grandmother did everything from learned to hula dance in her seventies to ride a camel in her eighties.  Life is short and we should experience as much as we can.  I believe in experiences over things and with travel those experiences stay with you forever.
